19 - Trim Panes

At the purchase, a panel was still present on one door, in bad conditions without the relavant pochet, but acceptable to take as sample.
The tissue is available at ENPI with the proper colour required in the 7A gray/black.
The black heavy cardboard for the panel is also available at ENPI.

Tissue application
The fixing of the tissue on the cardboard and the pocket manufacture have been made by an expert in collector cars internals.
The pockets have the same wicker strips around the pocket edges.

The rear pannels have been also provided with pockets, following one of the photos taken in the 1934 for advertising; in the normal production. the 7A were not provided with the rear pockets.

At the purchase, a panel was still present on one door, in bad conditions without the relavant pochet, but acceptable to take as sample.

Panels
A sample of light cardboard was made either for front panel or for the rear panels before cutting the black cardboard.
In order to make quickly and of similar dimensions the holes for the clips on the cardboard, a steel model was made.
The black cardboard was cut by the alternative cutting machine.

The wood
A couple of strips running through the panels were made in wicker material.
The wicker strips are provided in round sections: it was necessary to cut them in the middle along their length.

On the panel, between the strips, the cotton shall be placed to obtain the required thikness.
